Introducing Intergenerational Programs for Youth
Needham Youth & Family Services along with the Division of Aging are introducing Intergenerational Programs for Youth.
Four events are scheduled for January and February. Students may participate in one or all events.
Dinner for the Ages is a free intergenerational program that offers youth (ages 12-18) the opportunity to engage with Needham residents 60 years and older, have dinner, play games and have great conversations.
Dinners will be held on Thursdays from 6pm-7pm on January 24th and/or February 28th.
20 spaces are available but you must register in advance.
Pool Hall Days is a free intergenerational program that offers youth (ages 12-18) the opportunity to shoot pool with Needham residents 60 years and older, possibly learn new tricks and have a few laughs.
Pool Hall Days will be held on Tuesdays from 5pm -6pm on January 15th and/or February 26th.
10 spaces are available and you must register in advance.
Students are eligible for community service credits.
