The Board of Selectmen will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at 7:30 pm at the Needham Town Hall, 1471 Highland Avenue, Needham to gather input from interested parties regarding the subject of Food Trucks/Carts in the Town of Needham. Topics include: use of food trucks for concessions at athletic and other community events; identification of additional permitted locations in designated under-served areas; expansion of food trucks to Needham Heights & Needham Center; and the permitting of non-motorized food carts.
Current Mobile Food Truck Regulations can be viewed on the Town’s website using the link below . This public hearing is to receive comments and suggestions for alternative options that could be implemented to offer a Food Truck/Cart option for Needham’s residents and workers.
The Board of Selectmen invites all residents and interested parties to attend and provide input regarding this subject. Written comments may also be submitted to the Board of Selectmen, c/o Needham Town Hall, 1471 Highland Avenue, Needham, MA or by email to selectmen@needhamma.gov.
